Hi guys
I’m new here, so go easy on me 😄
Very soon I’ll be purchasing my first pin, which I’ve decided is going to be a stern jp pro. I’ve been searching for places that sell, and liberty games have it in stock.
So just wondering if liberty games are a good place to buy, ie pros and cons. And also is there any other suppliers I should be considering ?

Welcome to the forum 😀

You should definitely check out Pinball Heaven, who are the official suppliers of new Stern and Jersey Jack machines to the UK consumer market. Their new prices aren't too far from the used prices that Liberty offer. Phil at Pinball Heaven has a fantastic reputation for looking after his customers.

Liberty are to my understanding resellers, so tend to offer 2nd hand machines with a significant markup on their prices. If you want second hand at a fair price, then keep an eye on the forum for a seller.

ive checked out pinball heaven, but out of stock, do they get stock frequently? Or will I have to wait

If you are going down the nib route (new in box ) then it's Phil at Pinball Heaven . Only bought 2 nibs and if I can afford another one then it's the place to go .Now if you are going down the second hand route then put up a wanted thread on here , but you have to donate first to be able to put up a wanted post !!🙂

Liberty don’t always have the games in stock that are listed as so, as others have said speak with Phil at pinball heaven. He will look after you and know if there are any in the uk and if not when they will be arriving again. This is a popular game so you may need to pay a deposit to ensure you get one when they arrive

Liberty Games often say stuff is in stock when its not. But then a lot of UK Pinball Distributors say this... Your best bet is to call and ask what is actually landed in the UK 'In stock'.

Also from recolection I believe Home Leisure Direct have a 'show room' JP in stock, just be aware its had some plays. I asked about it a few weeks ago it may be gone by now.

My advice is to contact liberty and to ask them directly if they really have it in stock. They might have or they might advertise as if when in reality they don't.
I would also speak to Phil at pinball heaven to ask him when he is likely to get them back in stock.
And then you can decide whether there is one immediately available (unlikely in my view), or how long you have to wait for one to become become available. And then the long wait starts. Or you can try to find a second hand one. There was one that changed hands not long ago on here.
I did all this when i was looking for one and liberty (or it might have hld!) were really straight with me and explained they didn't have it, but were waiting for one. Just like Phil was. I went Phil route as he is the official distributor for stern in the UK. He offers a good warranty, much longer than stern itself.
