BSD left ball gate assembly question

I'm currently working on a BSD that has problems with the left ball gate assembly (the one used during mist multiball). The one on the left doesn't work properly.
The solenoid activates correctly when required - but the bent wire gate itself seems to be incorrect.
It looks to me like someone has replaced the ball gate with a different type (and a longer spring too). I've ordered the correct springs (10-120) but there is no way this will work with the ball gate that is fitted currently.

I can't find the part number of this ball gate (just the wire part) to order a replacement. I suspect I may need to make one myself. Would someone with a BSD be good enough to post some photos of the ball gate (left side) so I can see what it should look like? Ideally, I'd like to see how it connects to the solenoid/actuator via the small 10-120 spring too.

Thanks in advance.

There's a tiny hole on the left hand side to retain the spring, you can make it out in the picture there

Thanks all. It looks like I have the correct ball gate wire after all - but I still need to understand how it connects to the solenoid mechanism as it clearly isn't right as it stands now.
Any photos gratefully received;)

I used some small gauge copper wire with a little solder to connect the two, I could not get the 'official' spring to work either.
