Break downs

When you try to open a pinball club, all the machines that have worked flawlessly at your house for years, will suddenly decide they want to break, at the same time 🤣
 
Got Blackout working great..1 target started falling down on its ownat the start of each ball yesterday. Doesn't fall on its own for the rest of the ball though.
New springs have had no effect.
Carry on looking tonight.
 
My Demolition Man played flawlessly at the last league meet and when Ailsa was looking for pins for the Womens League at Pinfest, I thought, Demo Man will be reliable, so that can go. Within an hour of me saying it could go to Pinfest, it broke!!! Now fixed again though and is being mothballed for the next month so it stays working for Pinfest. I think it was just being a petulant child and knew I was shipping it away so decided to break to spite me :D
 
We've had a pre comp party the night before where all the games are working flawlessly.
Then when turned on the following morning the RAM dies 🙄

I repaired a soundboard which was working for at least 5 months, then @Taxiturn comes over the day before a comp and blows it up 😂

Happens so often! I am not superstitious but it is strange how it happens.
 
Yep i was about to sell my super reliable Gladiators a few weeks back till it genuinely stopped working the same day.........now it has been folded up after a number of failed electrical repairs. Just so glad it never actually sold then would have been looking a bit off had it played up almost immediately.

Too many bloops and beeps from my massive bonus
 
Blackout has a broken target reset plate. Looks like only available overseas.
Will have to put a message on parts wanted. Need it going for the classics comp.

Is it the individual plate for each drop or a long one for the entire bank? I might have a spare depending on which it is

If you ever want to sell the Gladiators please let me know, I've wanted to add one to the Gottlieb collection for a long time 👍🏻☺️

This is what happened to the TZ I sold Mark if you remember, never had a problem for the couple or so years I had it. The driver board went tits up and turns out even though it looked new topside it had been hacked which I never knew, not a good look.

So yeah better it goes wrong before you sell or take to a show.
