I bought 2 BSD projects from here, which I've managed to get them both working. I've made a good one, which I'm keeping and this is the other that I'm now selling.
Players condition working game with LEDs throughout, with spare playfield. £2,500 ono.
The game plays really nicely thanks to normal flipper bats being used.
Repaired MPU with off board battery holder.
Driver board has had all the large capacitors replaced. I suspect one of the new ones is faulty on either 5v line or 12v line as it occasionally resets.
The game can be stable for a long time then reset again or it can have a temper tantrum on start-up but does stabilise after a minute or two.
It's missing the never dies pcb for the display board, I suspect it was removed to help fit a colourDMD in the past then never got put back on when the game was sold with the normal DMD.
Oh and I've no idea what someone was thinking with the playfield inserts, hence including a spare playfield in the sale. I was originally going to do a playfield swap, but I have 5 or 6 playfield swaps in the queue ahead of this one.
I believe there's a broken wire on the mist magnet feed, it pulls the ball halfway across the playfield before it drops off. Typical known BSD issue.
Usual cabinet fade and scruffs, would be a good game for stripping back and re-decalling.
Rusty rear legs.
Sold as seen. Happy for you to collect it or have a courier collect it from Special When Lit in Salisbury https://specialwhenlit.co.uk/location.php.
