Hi,

I'm looking to sell/ potentially just trade my Black Knight Sword of Rage Premium.

Price is £7k OBO

Can bring to Pinfest on the Saturday. Otherwise collection is from Swindon.

The Good:
HUO
1000 plays
Great Condition
New Tilt Art Blades
Plastic protectors across the playfield
Has had the following recently replaced
New Flipper Rubbers
New Flail Ramp (see shop log)
Replaced Stock Stern Fan with Pinball Monk PSU Fan for quiet operation

The Bad:
Some slight wear on the shooter lane? (see pictures)

Forgot to add that I replaced the Stern Stock Fan in the Power Supply with a Pinball Monk Quiet Fan Kit.
 
Hey Jag, yeah it made a big difference at least for me. I came into the Hobby with a SAM based unit where they used half decent PSU's back then. With the Spike 2's they started using the cheapest slim line (almost server like) PSU's they could get their hands on. The result as you know is that loud spin up on the fan when the PSU gets too hot..

Its OK when you are playing as the noise gets drowned out, but if you've left the machines on in attract mode it reminds me of a dyson kicking off 😅 .

I have them installed on both the Stranger Things and Black Knight and bought some spare when I buy some more Modern Stern's. Its about 20 minutes work to install it. Pretty straight forward just have to be delicate with the removal of the old fan as they glue in the wires to secure it in the housing.

I wouldn't go back to stock now I have experienced how quiet they can be.

Maybe I'll talk about it, in the next chinwag? :D

Maybe I can leave DP switched on so the fan can drown us both out? 😉

Game looks mint mate and I have exactly the same on both my shooter lanes.

Totally agree and I miss mine. I think people won't buy it because they're afraid they won't be able to move it on later... And thus a vicious circle is created :(

It will eventually go, when eBay do a £1 FVF or something simular I'll stick it on there.

The thing is in immaculate condition just needs a good heavy metal/steve ritchie fan.
