OK. So in trying to analyse my intermittent CPU lock up I have managed to fit ROM IC26 the wrong way round. Doh!

Is the ROM now toast or can it be re-programmed? In either case beer tokens await.

More than likely toast... It would Throw VCC down the Ground line and vice versa if it's a 27C16....
