Hi all, also a biker here, this is my triumph speed four, when out and about with the Wiltshire bikers riding group.

Got back into biking the last few years, previously ridden a Kawasaki Zr7, Suzuki gs500 and my first bike was a Kawasaki eliminator 125 (what a beastie).

Very much just ride for fun. Last summer did a motorcycle/pinball tour round England and Wales, stopping off at tilt and the arcade club and a few others. Brecon Beacons and snowdonia were the best. Thinking next year perhaps the north coast 500 with hopefully some pinformer informed stop offs :)

Some beautiful bikes on here. That Ducati is something else.

Thought I would put together a list of bikes owned since 1973:

Bit of a mixed bag there matey, what year blade are you on?
It’s a bit unusual to see someone with hyper sports , super sports and litre bikes then opting for Harley’s - no wonder you think the sportsters your crapiest bike :) although I do admit to liking the look of the Harley 883 Iron but think it would be way too slow for me.....

Well it's a sad weekend just gone, said a farewell to my Hypamotard,

Will miss her but ordered my new toy today, watch this space.

Flogged the sport classic and got 2 pinballs in its place!

Replaced it with a much cheaper Triumph TBS. Need to find some original exhausts and get some bar end mirrors on, but I love it

Not sure if I have posted in this section before but I have never been without a bike since I have been 16 and my 1st trusty C90.

I currently have a Z1300 which I have owned for 26 years...

A Yamaha T80 which I have had almost as long and has crossed the Sahara as well as being ridden to Odessa and shipped to Iceland! Check out www.extremetrifle.com

And my latest project, "Bumpy" which is the 1st road legal bumper car in the UK (as far as I can tell). I don't have a more recent photo but he now has a pole that lights up and sparks at the top :D He started life as a quad bike so I'm counting him!!

Sound like a 3 cylinder in front, got to be speed / street triple.
CBR 600 in rear?
Well spotted on the triple. CBR650R that I was on. Both nice bikes. Forgot what rev monsters these type of bikes are

My sport bike days are behind me. Prefer a Sunday tootle about since the bairn was born!

Just bought a Yamaha SR400 to give me a project over the Summer. Will chop the fenders and sort the seat so it resembles something like this

Wow, just scrolled through this thread.
Some beautiful bikes for sure …..
would love to hit the track again, but was thinking if I creamed in how the pain would feel with my ongoing slipped disc issue 😬
Is was great down at Oulton park, was sharing the same pit garage area as the BSB team…
Got one of them to adjust my suspension FOC …. Lol

Owned 3

Preferred the Hornet and really enjoyed the trials

Found RR4 boring as no effort to make high speed - little gear change and not comfy

Very lucky to have spent most of my time
riding round the lake district and over the moors in Lancashire / Yorkshire

Down here in London it’s utter crap except for trails

@SeikoKid, I had a 954 Fireblade from 2002 and that was a cracking tool. The RR was excellent track day bikes but felt too refined and lost some of the challenge of fast riding.
I got a 2001 R1 cheap and that was nowhere near as nice as the blade, tries to kill you.

I had in my early days of riding a CBR 600 F Sport 2, the precursor to the 600RR and I found similar to already mentioned, it revved really high and was fast but I found it pretty boring to ride on the roads.
