Best sources of a Gottlieb Parts?

Having recently taken possession of a Gottlieb Operation a Thunder (courtesy of @deathrow :clap:) to start working on as my first 'project' I'd be interested in people's suggestions as best place to source parts?

I'm still a few weekends of 'hardcore home diy /refurb' from being able to start looking at the machine and devoting any time, but know I will need to obtain a number of parts (eg flipper assemblies etc).

Looking online my impression is that most of the obvious uk based mainstream suppliers don't carry / advertise many gottlieb items (which is as I'd expected)

Suggestions?

I mean seriously ...Fax !?!? As the *suggested* contact method after phone:rofl:

I can do 'fax' - still got one at work !!!

But I love this bit on the 'how to order' page :

"
Different people here handle different communication methods. Thus the person answering Emails is not the same person who handles the phone or fax inquiries/orders. We ask that you don't mix communication methods within the same order/inquiry to avoid a possible duplicate shipment and eliminate duplicate work needing to be done here.
"

If I can get past that, then it does look like payment may be an issue as they won't take credit card or online payements :hmm:, although they will offer 10 days credit after you've complete a few orders ( which is proper 'old Skool' busibess':)!)

I did warn you ;)

I believe some guys on here do use them so ordering is possible, somehow!

Cheers @GrizZ !

My eldest daughter is due to be going on a trip to the states, including New York, in the Autumn ( which will probably be how long it takes me to clear the domestic 'to do' list), so perhaps I can persuade her to take half a day off sight seeing and hand over some dollars (although I see they don't offer a counter service other than collection by prior arrangement!).

back in the year 2005 i used them !!
thay were very good ,it tuck a bit long for the first order ,like going to the post office ,converting pounds to dollers then sending dollers throught the post ,when thay recived the money ,only then did thay send the parts, after that it tuck half the time!!
pritty goood thay are !!

Order your PBR stuff (with your other parts) through Andy at Pinball Mania. He does bulk orders, just have to wait a while to get them. All mine have been acquired this way except the Robowar playfield as was an expensive item and that was a real headache to pay for (through Moneygram in the end).

Bank transfer to PBR kept getting refused, despite lengthy communication and re-attempts...... Incurred a lot of hassle for me plus lost fees on top of shipping and tax, costing a small fortune in the end. Would never do this again unless really desperate for something.
