Best Glue for mods?

I have a couple of mods to add to my Sopranos. I want to stick a few figures to the plastics. Obviously I want something that will stick well but is then able to be removed should it ever be necessary. Can anyone advise what type/brand of glue (ideally transparent) you would recommend? Thank you

Are there any existing fixings on the plastics that you could utilise, instead of gluing?

Double sided 3m tape or padded tape

No. The figures also have a round plastic base which I will use to apply the glue. Thanks
