I am no export but acid damage can be fixed, does not look to bad there? Just need to figure out which traces / sockets have been damaged which can be quite timely.

Is it whitestar still? I have done one it did not look bad but once you start cleaning it up the traces dissapear! Still it's worth doing, I had to remove everything on that side from the top to the bottom inc the ribbon connectors, but the board has been reliable for about 5 years so far
