Hi guys I'm looking for a cheap early solid state pin that's working but doesn't have to be mint , just needs to be working and not complicated as its for the grandkids to play when visiting , I have an e m already but find myself tinkering more than playing ... Midlands area preffered so I can pick up myself . Incidentally the JOKERZ that just sold on here for £500 would have been ideal

I'm located in Kettering just off the A14 which is not too far from you, although I was hoping to take the game to the NLP show if possible.

Have a look at the for sale thread first, possibly the theme may not be very grandkid friendly...

@lukewells has a Strange Science for sale. Refurbed condition, fully working etc. Weird as, with funky bloops, noises and sounds.

You won't regret it. Or if you do, or when you get bored, you can just sell it back here to someone else (at preferably the same price unless the market has moved on) - that's one of the best ways to get n00bs to taste their first go at ownership.

The only guarantee you'd get from any honest pinball seller is a guarantee that something will go wrong on it soon enough. But that can be part of the fun, the chase and then the fix both come with a large dollop of satisfaction, and every fix makes you better able to handle the next .....

Never played FUTURE SPA, HOT DOGGIN' or EMBRYON. But I've got strange taste in pins so will probably love them all. That said, although SPACE INVADERS has looks to die for it's a bill dull to play.

Thanks Nedreud , didn't realise they didn't make many and didn't know quite how wide it was so didn't go where I intended it to ! That said I love the game , it has everything I like
