This show appears on my YouTube. Again and again they make massive "losses" refurbing modest classics. Many of these have obvious, serious problems.
Noone rational would spend this amount of money paying a professional to renovate this car, to then auction it off. The hammer price was 22 grand.
What's the scam ?
Do the repair shops actually buy the car to sell on ? They get some TV publicity, work on it over time when they have no paying clients, so the "labour" cost is just lies ?
