Bally - Stern Interchangeable?

Thanks guys, so just a straight swap out.
Length of rod? Does that mean rod tip could protrude into the shooter lane causing an issue with the ball ejection?

Pinball shop sell these rods.........
I was thinking of buying some of these. Again, I asked the question to the store but got no response to the question.....
I wonder if the dimensions would:
A. Work in a Stern shooter housing as was thinking of adding a Brass / Chrome ball Sphere as I hate the crap plastic thingy (I know i can break it off but would rather replace rod)
B. Buy the Bally housing, if Rod too short - replace with one of the gold rods and add a Brass Ball Sphere

Thoughts appreciated :)

I went onto Macro specialist:

It appears dimensions works out as follows:

Rods for all Bally / Williams - 7-7/8 - so in decimal 200.025
Stern - 7 5/8 - decimal 193.675

Pinballshop.nl rods - decimal 201mm (length without screw thread)

So pinballshop rods are actually longer and as Sven said, could be padded with washers if needs be :)

Received shooter rods, longer barrel springs and chrome + Brass balls from Pinballshop.nl today.
Stuff good quality.
Bit of an issue with the width of the shooter rods. Measured around 9.5mm with calliper and the stern one is around 9.35mm.
Long storey short, they did not fit within the stern housing.
Therefore - I used a 9.5mm metal drill bit to ream the brass bushing until the rod smoothly went through.
Added a drop of silicone grease to the rod and butter smooth.
Another option would be to install the Bally housing but I wanted to keep the brass bushings as it’s smoother action compared with the nylon.
Anyway - beats the crap black ends of the stern ones and like the plated finish of the rods from pinballshop.
Did all my pins this evening.B60306A5-7A09-4CE5-8C55-25088C269BE8.jpeg93A61FAC-4ECF-40A8-9E7F-2CC32B8F831E.jpeg
