Hi, this is similar to Johnnyo's issue but the reverse.
This game is a resurrection, new rectifier board and plugs. Replugged some of the Solenoid driver upper right connector.
Alltek MPU and to test alltek lamp board.
Issue: at the start only approx. 5 -7 lamps flashing in attract mode - most were out and 1 or 2 locked on. I replaced the respective connectors on J4 on the mpu ( upper left) that are for the lamp board , this bought most of the other lights on but they stay on - a few seem to pulse like they are trying to blink but can't and stay lit.
I have also replaced the connector pins on the plug on the lamp board ( upper left) .
In case the alltek was faulty I put in a tested working lamp board with the same result.
Besides replacing all the pins everywhere can anyone suggest what to replace next?
Someone advised to replace the 2 pins on the solenoid driver board that feeds the lamp driver which I will do. I will also check all the bulb holders to see if there is any of them are bent and touching things they shouldn't.
Anyone else know the theory behind the flashing attract lights - the game boots and plays fine but the attract lights are just on all the time for the most part.
thanks
Clive
