Ok so I came across this little gem! when I was speaking to a fellow in Instagram about his one he pictured,
turns out he had a spares machine that basically wasn't used!
so I picked it up got home and took a few snaps!

and note back glass is in very nice condition too

so it needs a new transformer and rec board (on the way) before I can see what else may be needed so I decided to start stripping the playfield down and seeing what needs doing on there
so I got the tools out and got to work striping and bagging.
but as is the case with myself I couldn't help get the nova polish out and see what the playfield was like under the dirt!
here's a little before and after of the top of the shooter lane:

came up quite well! so enough messing around lets get her stripped!
here's the plastics off and a look at the playfield

playfield is in pretty good condition, just a few corners of Mylar lifting, but unfortunately the plastics are mostly junk very heat warped along with the pop caps and 50 caps!
ok so I push on, removing everything I can until the playfield has all of the posts removed an only the pop bumpers and 50s remain,
tadarrr…..

aannd coffee time

ok so now its all stripped here's a closer look at the worst sections

just realy around those ''when lit'' inserts
everything else is grate!
so I decide to remove the Mylar using the upside down air duster can to freeze!
no pitures of this prosses for obvious reasons,
but here she is with it removed! the glue removed! also there is a picture of the stuff I got from our local pound shop that worked wonders on the glue!!!!
now i will admit i took some paint off around the 4x 5x 25 inserts but not all the white you can see it removed paint! ill have a go at touching these areas up later but all went well imo!
heres the sticky stuff remover I used!
this is all Mylar removed and cleaned up with nova polish 2 and 3
ok so now its reassembly time!
as I reaseble everything gets a good polish or a scrub with soapy water!

look how good these red posts come out!

ok so heres a look at the condition of those plastics

obviously a new set is needed , most local place iv found so far is the usa! so I suppose I'll try get a few bits and get my moneys worth in the postage! £80!
and here's a picture of everything back on for the sake of completeness and so I don't lose any screws! haha

great so that's how far I got on my Saturday!
so here's a little list of the things I still need to do :-
- replace full plastic set
- fit new transformer and rec board
- rubber kit
- 4x 50 bumper caps
- 3x pop bumper caps
- 2x little metal posts with the little rubber around on the out lane
- bulbs/led's
- new legs
- shooter rod springs
- head bolts
and probably a lot more once I can power her up!
so I hope to put my progress on here so keep your eyes peeled!
and thankyou for reading this far
