Up for sale is my Popeye, selling as is, needs a playfield strip clean re rubber and a few bulbs etc.

THE BAD

Cab has dings and scratches
Backbox back panel has some swelling
Legs have pitting (should polish up)
minor scratches to PF glass
Lock bar bas been drilled and bolts fitted

THE GOOD

Fully working and plays fine
Good bright DMD no lines out
Playfield looks nice with no wear
No rust to PF parts
All 4 flippers strong
Cab colours still look vibrant
Comes with new slings and manual

When I got this I replaced the CPU board as old one had acid damage, I also replaced the GI headers and plugs as they had been hacked and burnt. Please study the pictures, I have tried to capture the bad bits of the cab. If you need more pics of anything specific please ask. With some TLC this pin will come up nice! I have not played this for any lenght of time so as far as I'm aware there are no issues with it!

Located near Dundee Scotland, Martin comes here so happy to wrap and store until collection or courier picks up once paid for. Looking for £1550

Well I replaced it with Jackbot which I enjoyed a lot less.

In the long-run no because have managed to play/own/loan some magnificent machines and selling Popeye helped me get STTNG which was a really big deal for me.

My son speaks well of it though and my daughter loved it. I'd love to play it again now though but my days of owning widebody pins are gone I think.

I'll tell you this much though . . . . that's a lot of pin for the money. It get's slated but there are a lot of machines a lot worse than Popeye and the loops are as good as any other orbit shot. The timing just seems to be right to enable it to be hit over and over. I also like the extra ball shot off the upper playfield and the modes are not too bad. If it had a ramp that returned the ball to the flipper in place of the animal kicker I think it would be a very good game.

I like it.

You can assume £95 or just a tiny bit higher. As Ronnie says Martin goes to his location and if you don't mind waiting, i'll withdraw my PM interest and let you have it. Martin, for info, was last here at mine in Scotland 2 weeks ago so you're most likely looking at after xmas for his next run but Martin is worth the wait so unless you're buying for a xmas pressie, wait on Martin and buy it now from Ronnie.
