Hi

My rectifier board is a bit passed its sell by date. Am getting some AC ripple on lights and new MPU is not behaving, so going back to basics and getting shot of the Rectifier board rather than mess around and replace bits etc.

I see that there is a solderless one now, so you don't have to resolder the wires on the back of the PCB.

Is this worth it? Any issues with it?

What do people recommend and also where to buy in UK if possible?

Thanks

JB

I prefer the solder version. I get the self build kits which are the cheapest option. Soldering the wires on the back isn’t difficult. My best tip is to extend each wire so you can turn the board around more easily as the std wires are often too short.
