The spare cabinet stencil arrived this morning along with a glass lockdown bar - many thanks Keith @new forest pinball - Will get the first coat of blue on over the weekend. Got another pin to collect Saturday a.m, but hoping for some good weather p.m.
Love the cabinet art on this game. I actually went to see the Harlem Globetrotters a couple of years back when they were at the o2. Ruddy good fun I tell ya
Had a full day in this today. 9 hours solid.
started with an empty cab on legs.
Now almost there in terms of rebuild.
got the flippers to install, plastics need securing with acorn nuts, can’t find my small pop bumper screws
some under pf soldering to do
need to make a set of led score displays
apron not bad but i’ll clean it and strip it then repaint and redecal it.
and a ton of other small jobs
Original board all in, but looking at the eve m i doubt the mpu will boot and expecting issues with the sdb, lamp driver and sound car looks awful. it came with a new rectifier board do that should be ok. will start from tgat and test each bit gradually.
getting near to the end, decided to put in red and blue score displays. and also did the credit/match in red for the credit and blue for match ball in play.
still got the apron to do and all the little finishing touches.
now the good bit. playing some games. got 500k on a game with 3 balls and no extras. deffo. gonna roll this easily. the prime contender for my 6-7 digit upgrade project.
