Hi,

New to pinball, so toddler explainations please :)

When the ball launches from under the playfield to the cannon ramp, sometimes its too hard and makes the ball jump off the ramp as far as the left kickback lane. Is this normal or does something need adjusting?

Ball launches from here.

Launch solenoids, notice the front one that launches to the cannon ramp is missing some sort of black plastic sleeve

Closer picture, is it supposed to have this long plastic shaft with black tip , can you get the part?

It’s not adjustable looks like someone has welded the coil bracket on though and it’s the wrong plunger I will take a pic of mine for you tomorrow if I remember

I had this problem on my last STTNG. I installed the weaker coils as Andy suggests. I don’t remember having a problem with loading the cannons, but they weren’t as snappy at reloading.

Thanks Chris B Pinball, Regarding the bracket, interesting I had a closer look this morning. The bracket hasnt been welded to the machine, just the bracket itself. It looks like both the metal brackets that hold the solonid in place are in correct. I'm guessing these can be purchased?

Thanks, the canon loads fine, the issue is the ball comes out sometimes so hard from the launcher it bounces off the ramp down the drain, or down the glass!
