Back glass and play field bulbs

Hi, Thanks for all the help with cleaning the play fields, your knowledge is appreciated.
I am assuming that original back glass bulbs and playfield bulbs should be replaced on SS and EM machines and that there are more efficient, retro fit options available, so where would I start looking and what type? LED?

if your going to go for LEDs id get some of the ones that are meant to have a retro light effect or just go for standard bulbs

You don't need to replace if they are good.
Can switch to 47's to save power and they are a bit cooler.
LED's - less power but depends if you like the look or not.

Older games don't suit LED'S, stick with incandescents they look way better.
