Anyone bought ROMS from....

Bought the ROMS as described. The display is good but the CPU wont work.
Pop my old CPU chip in and its fine again.
Seller sent another but same issue. He's been pretty good to be fair.

Just wondering if there's a bad 4.08 file around for HOOK that he's burning on these?

Shame as I could do with one.

Think that might be the bloke I got my star trek roms off (pre forum days) got my star wars ones off Paul though

yes mate, 4.01

Fair enough, not a display vs game ROM compatibility problem then !

Nope. It will run with the USA 3.00 along with the 4.01 display but not 4.08 cpu and 4.01 display.
