Working on a Williams Road Kings. Keep getting "Adjust Switch 33 (Right 10 Point)" error message at switch on and in diagnostics.

Switch 33 is listed in the switch matrix and in the list of switches but is not pictured in the switch chart and I'll be buggered if I can see a Ten Point target anywhere on the playfield. I also can't find the Left Ten Point which again is listed in the matrix (switch 45) and in the list of switches but not pictured in the chart.

A previous owner looks to have renumbered one of the switches in the chart with a pencil so the chart clearly cannot be relied upon :)

What am I missing that is blatantly obvious to a second pair of eyes?

Cheers

Andy

It’s probably a switch behind a rubber rather than an actual target?

That's what I thought but only switches behind rubbers are slings and they're both good (and are not switches 33 and 45 in chart).

Oh. :( Guess could try tracing the relevant wires under the playfield then?

I really liked Road Kings when I had one a few years ago. My only complaint is that they should have made it 3 ball multi ball!

Last resort that but may come to it if no one has come across this before (can’t seem to find anything doing Google search on switch 33 Williams Road Kings).

Found it, and the left ten point switch (switch 45 which also wasn’t shown on switch chart).

Both behind rubbers switches.

Updated the manual - photo below in case anyone comes up against same conundrum!

Andy,

'Rebound' switches like that were on their way out at the time, but they should've been shown in the chart. Often there were a number of them all with the same number/wire colours.

The usual report with Road Kings was for 'Ramp Eos' (No. 23), and the 'Mega Score' rollunder (No. 35) hidden under the ramp.
