Alvin J. Gottlieb, son of David and Dorothy Gottlieb passed away this morning at the age of 86. He is survived by four children, Laura, Daniel, Michael and Joseph as well as a large number of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
I will post specifics for services as soon as I have them but it will be later this week in Oak Park, Il.
Words cannot describe the enormity of our loss. Dad was a true Gentleman. Kind and loving to all, he was happy and full of life all the way to the end

I know that Alvin had been receiving treatment in hospital since June, however it seems that he never fully recovered from several operations
