Alien Star issues

This arrived today with a couple of issues I knew about and another couple I didn't... :mad:

1. As you can see the top two displays have the top right segment not showing. Displays are fine, swapped them around to check so it's something driving them. CPU voltage at 5.25 and all connector edges cleaned, no difference.

2. It loses credits after games finish and at switch off.

I'm suspecting board issues.... but any tips appreciated until I can get Mr @lukewells to cast his eye on it. Cheers.

first suspect check pins on rh side connectors, they are the display outputs.If not possible board, either way if a keeper three words

Cheers Chris. Just tried a suggestion on Pinside reseating J2/J3 MPU connectors several times and worked. :). BTW, they look better in blue as you recommended but they look a little bit more 'warbly' now. Voltage issue maybe?

Still loses credits after game but got a credit switch linked to start button now so credits on each start as a get around.
