AFM Sound issue

Any clues what might be happening?

About 3 times in last week all sound just goes and then comes back after a few seconds.

Then, today it did it for about 15 seconds and the DMD ( PLASMA ) went all glitchy.

All I could think of was to check connectors going to DMD and they are all snug.

Id certainly consider reseatting all ribbon connectors and anything plugged in to the sound board. Anything more technical than that and I start to sweat

Thanks - sounds like a good idea. First I have to find the sound board Hopefully not difficult! It is a really intermittent fault so difficult to check.

Had a similar issue, turned out the ASIC (big square chip, brown socket) on the CPU board needed reseating. A gentle push in each corner was enough.
