AFM 3-bank motor gearing 'sleeve thingy'

Hi,

I'm cleaning my AFM up at the moment and discovered the 3 target motor may be missing a part.

I'd like to know what it is, if i need it, and where i could find one?

The first 2 images are taken from a Pinside post which alerted me to this potential problem.

My machine is missing the round sleeve shown by the arrow.



What the feck is this called and where can I find one?


I've also noticed that my replacement plastic for the raising target bank has a bigger oval hole for the little thingy to move up and down in.

I'll add a photo of the newer plastic later... (EDIT: now added) but the dimension shown by the red arrow is noticeably bigger! I definitely ordered the correct part...

Just cut a biro in half and push it over, it shouldnt fall off once installed, you wont notice much of a difference, will just align better in the up and down position looks about 1.5mm

Cant see you being able to find a spare, its probably in the bottom of the cab somewhere.

I have a complete AFM 3-bank assembly still in the pack and it doesn't have that part? Also the manual doesn't show a part there either.




Maybe someone has put it on to take out the slack of a worn component?
