I've had a good lock at it and collared a list of parts needed which I'll update in a bit but this is the a different sort project I haven't tried before.

The previous owner must have put that on top of the pin.

Looks like the cage around the motherboard will have helped a little with the heat. Out of all my Spike 2 games Aerosmith is the only one fitted with this cage. If you need any details of what colour wire goes where, then i can get some pics of mine for you

Have a look inside the cage if anything has dripped onto it and remove asap, this stuff can be quite corrosive. Looks eminently doable otherwise. What burned next to it?

So still waiting for a reply from Stern on the parts, notable the wooden backbox bits.

They are OK other than one bit that has lifted, so thought I would just do the lot.

Yeah, was thinking about maybe using the premium decals but nowhere has the complete set.

Good afternoon Oliver,

Part numbers for the decals and translite can be found on the Aerosmith manual on page 8.



Part number for the left side panel with black T molding is 525-9704-01-00 and part number for the right side back panel with black T-molding is 525-9704-02-00 .

Part number for the LCD harness is 037-1116-00.



Part number for the decal left of the CPU is 820-8411-03 and part number for the decal to the right of the CPU is 820-8411-02.

Part number for the LCD back light is 037-1115-00 . I had to reach out to engineering for the other part number for the other harnesses. Once I have these, I will share the part numbers with you.

It was ok when I initially inspected, just some melted tmolding stuck to it. Should clean up fine. The game is sitting at my parents house because I don't have room so hoping to get back to it at the weekend!
