If you find a 1500 Addams these days ...then firstly you will be *very* lucky, and secondly it will prob be a complete wreck. Just the reality of the pin market at the moment.

I agree.. but you can BUT not very often get one for peanuts. I know.. I have.

The 2nd/used market has boomed, plus 20k of those tables were made.

You missed my point totally.



..What I mean is some top tables i.e Addams Family have come across my path BUT not every often. The last one I purchased was for peanuts (very little money) considering.

Re:- Quality. You get what you pay for, don't get me wrong you could view & play it & the seller may not know that he/she is sitting on an investment & that the average price is 2k plus.



Snap their hand(s) off.



Buy cheap, sell high? Play till it bores you & sell on & make a little bit of profit? or keep for ever?

Bring back the good old days of picking up Addams for £300 all day long. Cheapest one I picked up was £180 is was in bits but all there.

TZ in those days was a little more to pick up, around £350 to £400.

save your money imo. they are good machines but not that good.i liked mine when i had it but have had just as much fun and more from pins costing a lot less.

the only good thing is tha fact that it will hold it's money when you come to sell on.

Ahhh, I'd defend TAF anyday, there's good reasons it's sold so many more than other tables. Can't see many being available for under 2 grand but it's still a great looking pin and the flashers at the start of multiball is still the best effect out there (you can stick you dildo waving MM thing where the sun don't shine.... doesn't hold a candle to a TAF)

On a positive note they do come up for sale at a regular basis - one on ebay at the moment but at an eye watering price (kind of surprised to see 2 x TAF and a MM in the picture right next to a window letting in bright sunshine)

Good luck finding a tafg for £4500. Ive probably seen 5 for sale in 5 years and the last few standard machines have been priced at not far off that. If you are going to drop up to 3k you would be better served looking for a SM/TSPP imo

Agree with John. TAF is a stone cold classic. Never thought I'd fall so in love with mine. It *IS* 90s pinball - hence the demand and prices for it.

Not a huge fan of TAF gameplay wise, but the machine rekindles great memories. The one thing that did it for me with that game was 'the power' music and the throbbing of the magnets as they activated....I would still own one today if i had the room, but i am more of a speed and flow kind of player and waiting for a hand to grab a ball, do a little ditty and hand me it back is such a ball aching nightmare the billionth time you see it, it just had to go. Furthermore, i would rather have my balls smashed in by stiletto wearing pinball geeks than hear the words 'showtime' ever again... Each to their own 'n all that.

Anything can get tedious but if you can own only one machine (like I currently do) TAF is not a bad one to own. I have not had a single guest in my house who hasn't ended up laughing whilst they played it, not a single one has passed on a game and most ask me to turn it one when they come back. That might be the case with any table but I can't help feel it is the easy to get on with nature of the Addams Family theme.

I got offered one for in & around 4,000 Euro (CBA converting)..tables on the continent tend to be a state.



and OMFG is was a mess. Serious. 15 rivets had been fired through the lock down bar. The cabinet was scratched to F. Real shame.. It hurt the eyes.

£900 full working order except had to resolder a dry join on the bookcase. Decals are 98% nearly perfect playfield is 7/10 because of a few planking near magnet area. Now covered with factory quality decal meylar. So now 9.5/10

Not selling will be keeping this one.
