Abundance of pinballs for sale 😬

Its the prices that people are willing to pay that surprise me, top money, becoming an exclusive hobby me thinks.

To be fair @Matt Vince has listed 4 very reasonably priced pins below. BOP went for £1900 a couple of days ago and Whirlwind for £2.5k so there is stuff out there.

Genie - £1450
Riverboat Gambler - £1750
Spirit (Project) - £850
High Roller Casino (wrong legs) - £2200
Flash (needs work) - £850

Agree, there are some older pins that have moved on, but Asking price, 7k for a CV or 9k for a Tron LE and the current pricing of new pins surely are pricing out many people, myself included.

Prices in the uk are following that of pinside. Problem is we rarely see a CV or a Tron LE for sale here. Top tier games, you can almost name your price on both. Actually Tron LE’s stateside go for $15K+

do you deal in bitcoin also ? :D
😂 you are going to be a bit upset this morning if you are down over 22k from its peak in dec to just over 42 this morning
6 interest rate increases announced yesterday throughout the year by the federal government in the us and you know we will follow no more money printing and your energy prices are certainly going to double or more inflation going to be higher than ever
Might be some cheep pins next year

I don't deal in Pinballs I buy them to play. They're not an investment for me . I have about £40ks 'worth' of machines at current prices but if there's a crash and that falls to £4K, then it will only cost me that to replace them when I change them up. Hence me saying what is the current value is all that matters to me as all I can do is I make sure I pay fair price compared to the market at the time. What happens to the market overall after that is a different matter . Those two sales seem to be about right as things stand . Like Chris said you would think things will change next year (and things generally are going to get tough for a lot of people) but who knows , strange times!

I don't think the price of Pins will actually come down, it's just ahead of the inflation curve and I think everything else will soon catch up.

Certainly is! Trouble is I need to be Jeff Bezos to buy any of them!
