A little metal work help

I have been having trouble hitting the mode start hole on my GnR. After having a look I was pretty sure I was missing something and with some help from a Pinsider who provided a picture for me I have discovered that it is this metal guide:



So I am guessing that I won't be able to find this part for sale anywhere as I assume it's a game specific part and unlikely been reproduced. (Please correct me if I am wrong.) My question is does anybody here have the skills to make something like this for me? I realise that may be a little tricky as I do not have the part for somebody to copy!
Any ideas chaps?

Probably just easier to swap the whole machine with my R&B

Or get someone with the bit to remove it and photograph it lying on graph paper. looks a fairly straighforward flat bit of metal

Or...... you could just sell me your R&B and then buy something great. That is a much better idea. You know it makes sense.

Looks like it Dude. I have the regular post with the rubber on it that sits in front of it so I know it doesn't attach to that.

Can you measure how long it needs to be (approx) ? You might find a suitable candidate that just needs cutting down to size.

No sweat @Paul. I didn't know either!
I only started looking at it as I realised after playing solidly for days that I hardly ever started a mode. I mean... I am a pretty **** player but not that ****!!
