A little boxing day gunfighting...

Hmmm, broken flipper ROM or reset circuit faulty are my guesses. Has the obvious stuff like replacing the sockets and reflowing the pins on the connectors been done?

At least 2 of the ROMs are not in great shape. Several legs appear to have gone awol. 1 was still in the socket where the others are is somewhat of a mystery :)
Could probably repair the legs of the 2 ROMs but i'm assuming they are not so hard to obtain so probably just worth replacing those.

Looks like *part* of the interconnect has been replaced at some point. And one of the "sockets" looks to be missing its pin. :(

Yes, much better to get new ones. Think you can concatenate the ROMs into one without too much trouble. I can burn them if you procure the file(s). Interconnect looks like trouble, has the contact been squashed? If one is gone, more will be damaged.

TIPs arrived today. (Thanks @AlanJ ) Normal feature lamp service has been resumed.
Course I've now noticed one of the bumper switches was stuck (the one for scoring). It seems the diode on the switch killed itself rather than be part of a gunfight.
Diode replaced.. just need to reassemble the bumper switches... then hopefully play it for a bit :)
Thanks for everyone that helped diagnosis !
