I recently inventoried all my filament. It was after I tidied my garden shed and did the same for some of the storage in there. Found an app called "Find my stuff". Was super impressed with it - everything its just where you expect it and does what you would expect. I think you can even add a barcode to items. All my filament and parts are now in there (Among other stuff)

Printed this a while ago..as is often the case with the stuff I print because "that would be a cool print" I realised didn't really have anywhere to put it.
