Does anyone have any suggested "you tube training" for the basics if being able to create my own prints? Havent an issue with the printing, however would like to be able to create my own things 
Probably depends on what sort of prints you want to make.
There's loads of choobs on fusion 360 for functional stuff.
Making a print from an image is done via a website. Can create models from an image too - results for this are mixed ime

I think blender is more orientated towards arty tomfoolery. (That said I've tried dabbling with it a few times and wasn't keen either)
Done stuff with tinkercad and 3d builder. Sorta tried fusion and keep promising my self to git gud with it.. one day..

Like HomerRamone wrote, it much depends what you're most likely to want to design. Simply put, do you tend to artwork or engineering? Mine in the latter so Onshape in my choice and has plenty of tutorials. Also now getting into 3d scanning to replicate complex shapes.Does anyone have any suggested "you tube training" for the basics if being able to create my own prints?
