Wms sys11 q51 to q65 are all 2n6427 transistors.
I need 4 but only have one. Googling an equivalent it comes up a few, one of them being a mpsa42. I have loads of these but the a42 is listed as high voltage. Are they gonna work ok or should i have a fire extinguisher handy.

The 2n6427 and mpsa42 are not equivalent. The 6427 is a darlington device (2 transistors in one package) which has a gain 1000 times that of the mpsa.
It may work, but is likely to give dim lamps.
