coin mech

Hi everyone, I'm not sure as best etiquette or place to post. I hope this is ok. I have a Williams teachers pet that currently uses UK 10p coins. I wonder if it's possible to replace the coin mech to use modern 50p, 20p, 10p, £1. Would it be an easy swop or would it require a rewire etc...

Hi I currently have a validator that work fine with Euros but I actually want one that accepts UK currency (10p 20p 50p £1 £2) I believe it's a C220 but can't be sure as there are no marking/labels on it. Thanks Paul
