Hello all
On Saturday 19th October, there will be a group matchplay event at Alan & Clare's wonderful home near Leeds, Yorkshire. The format will be 4 player games over 10 qualifying rounds (7-5-3-1 scoring) with the top 12 qualifying for the knockout rounds with trophies for the top 3. This will be an IFPA registered event. Anyone who has been to an event run by Gene Aw will be familiar with this format
Practice is from 11am - 12 with the competition beginning shortly after.
There is a 32 player limit due to space, first come first served with a wait list if necessary.
Entry will be £15, £5 of each entry will be donated to Alderhey Children's Hospital, Liverpool after the event. Alderhey has a very personal attachment to our family after our daughters life changing operation last year and the continued care she has received.
Sign ups will open from 1pm this coming Saturday (10th August). To enter please send me a PM on the forum after 1pm with your name, email address and IFPA number if you have one. Entries can be paid in advance via Paypal or cash on the day. If you want to do this via Paypal let me know via PM and I'll let you know the email address to use.
Address details will be sent to those entered nearer the time, the machine line up will also be confirmed on here in the run up.
