Hi All,

Not sure if there is too much love for Zaccaria's on here, but I'll give it a shot!

£1300 - Zaccaria Locomotion.

The Good bits:
All original boards and displays - working (see bad bits)
New rubbers and bulbs
Minor repairs done to some plastics (hard to see where they've been repaired)
Seems to be working without issue (I say seems to , as I am hopeless at pinball, so there may be shots/combo's that I've not hit that may produce an outcome I haven't tested)! Having said that, some friends and I were playing it on the weekend, and didn't notice any issues.
Backglass, I think, is in very good condition.
Battery removed and replaced with NVram

The Bad bits:
Playfield had wear to wood in the lower half. This has been fixed up and mylar applied, but is far from perfect (see Pic 5).
Usual cabinet wear for a 40+yr old machine.
Displays work - a couple take a little longer to warm up and display all characters.
Legs are okay and useable, but some rust (painted with rust converter).

You're welcome to come take a look/have a go if you can make it to, or are in, the Kent area.

Beautiful playfields, built to last

This looks to be a really clean example too. Good luck with the sale.

Looking at the photos I think the new owner should check transistors Q3 (BF423) and Q9 (BF422) on display number 4 for short circuits as it looks like the hundreds digit on the display is being overdriven which means the anode is turned on all the time instead of strobed and will eventually kill that digit if not fixed which would be a shame as the displays are hard to find.

That's sorted. I've swapped the display out for another from my Zac space shuttle.

But thanks for the heads up on what may have been causing that
