WPT- start button issue query

This seems to have resolved itself without me doing anything; after putting the playfield back down after adjusting the flippers, the game wouldn’t add any credits even though the start button switch contacts seemed fine / led flashing away- all diagnostics for switch’s and DIPs showed the game was okay. Can anyone familiar speculate what the issue might’ve been? The game has had a few hacks around the coin door loom- not sure if this is had anything to do with it the start button not registering

Try twisting the button assembly into the socket from the inside of the machine, I’ve had it pop out a wee bit before and the start button simply wasn’t reaching the micro switch.

I literally just remembered that I did this to make sure it was tight- possibly how it was fixed. Cheers Andy
