Trying to get machines sorted for NERG.
MM display has gone weird, hoping it was going to be a simple case of reseating ribbon cables.
Did this and everything just went blank. Tried again and all looked good, fired up a game, no flippers.
Switched off, reseated, and I’m back to where I started (see vid).
LEDs check out, fuses OK but nothing at 50v test point.
Looked online, Pinside mainly, can’t see too many pointers.
Anyone here with any ideas? Send the board off?, usually use @pinballmania but NERG’s not too far off. Anywhere Newcastle area any good with this sort of thing, might be a quicker turnaround,

Alan have you got ribbon cables in another game to swap in and try ?
I have had similar craziness and it was def the ribbon cable at fault.

They’re only a few months old Ive though I could swap them out for the ones in JY.
Would that knock out the 50v?

Looks like the DMD pages are being shifted over each other.

Gentley push on the ASIC and see if the display corrects itself.

If so, switch off, remove & reseat (or try a firm push if you've not got a tool)
