have a Williams that's triggering the "tilt" when a)the game is reset, it'll rescore to zero and go to 5 plays and play out, but intermittently it will do that and say tilt-going down to only 4 plays then; or b) the game is reset and once in a great while it will just keep calling a tilt and take away all the plays till the game is over, all without the ball even being shot onto the field. Other times, it will reset and play out all 5 balls just fine.

New to all this but from what I gathered, there's a 3 tilt switches, one on the backside of the play field, a pendulum/bob-weight in the left side of the machine on the wall, and a ball roller one right above the pendulum one. The ball roller one doesn't have the ball in it, the pendulum works when manually triggered but is NOT touching or even moving when my problem is occurring, and the one on the backside of the playfield operates when manually triggered.

any ideas what's triggering the tilt or where to look?!
