The bins are "salted". They put stuff in to liven up the programme. Ever noticed how only four guys ever win the auctions ?
"Hey, there is nothing in here but soiled undrwear, broken kids toys and porn. But what is this ? Oh look it is a collection of 100 rolex watches" .....
"So, bottom line mr jeweller, what are they worth?"

I don't doubt it's staged. It's always the same people there with a few random stooges thrown in to bid the odd £50. I just thought it was interesting that a few pins turned up.
It always makes me smile when they cut the new locks off and the bald guy knows where the " Good Stuff " is and what

A few years ago channel 4 rang me about "posh pawn". I'd advertised an IJ on Gumtree and they wanted me to lug it about to various Pawn brokers. Can't say I fancied the idea much....

My old man was on that! Flogging a boxing belt bought from Vegas signed by 9 heavy weight legends. Or not. It was a fake in the end! Left empty handed. He's now been on 4 rooms twice and Is trying to broker me on there with a pinball machine....watch this space!
Well if they know anything about pinball they know you are going to be reluctant to take he thing back with you!
