TZ slot machine coil

Fitted a scoop light to my TZ earlier and in the process removed the scoop itself and noticed that the black cap (?) on the end of the plunger is slightly deformed. I guess this is what is causing the inconsistent kickout.

What is this part called and where can I source it?

Also - is there an easier way of removing the scoop from the underneath of the playfield? I had a nightmare with it, the subways and switches were getting in the way, it took a good 5 minutes to remove and left some scratches on the subway plastics.

You should be able to get the part number from the manual. If you don't have the manual it should be on IPDB

..which seems to suggest that there is no black bit on the end? (8 is a regular coil sleeve I think?)



It's the black bit on the end there that's slightly deformed on mine.

Thanks. Is that easy enough to replace? The coil itself looks to be perfect, the only problem is that it is a bit inconsistent when firing it out.

I replaced the whole unit last year but kept the old bits, in box me your address and I will post it to you UK I hope ?
