TOTAN update
Thanks to all of those who have responded to my posting,
I am in the process of replying to everyone individually with the following
message;-
Hi,
Regarding TOTAN Tales of the Arabian Nights
I have tried to describe this as honestly as I can, as I want a sale with no
hassle, and to keep a good name in the pinball community.
Welcoming offers in excess of £2500
Willing to consider only the following machines for trade.
Capcom Airborne ( not F14 Tomcat )
Family guy
Hyperball
World Cup Soccer 94
Big Bang Bar
Cactus Canyon
Mario/Mario Brothers
The worst bit of the playfield is the tigers paw, it is not possible to see it
from a playing angle - you have to put your face fairly close to glass and look
underneath ramp to see it. I have done that and taken a close up picture.
Playfield has been touched up, Cabinet has been touched up. I have a new set of
decals, but did not put them on as I think the current cabinet artwork is too
good to put them on. Cabinet backbox has a couple of "flakes" which have been
painted over, similarly there are two smaller than fingernail flakes out of the
front of the cabinet at the very bottom, the photograph shows them.Cabinet could
be touched up further/better with very little effort or skill.
The Bazaar plastic (only) is broken, I have a brand new one which I have not yet put on, and will do so.
Translite appears perfect. - which makes the genies eyes even brighter - the
photograph of the translite shows a reflection of my naff lampshade, giving
strong reflections, please ignore reflections translight appears to be perfect.
DMD appears perfect
Sound appears perfect
Please look carefully at the photographs, if there is anything you particularly
want photographed, then please tell me exactly what it is you want to see. I
have photographed all the bad bits and included them in the photographs.
This pin was used at my home, near Stirling Central Scotland, this weekend,
during the Scottish Open Championship, and Scottish League meet, and any
functional niggles were kindly fixed by John Higgins, (highjon on group). The
only thing was solved by replacing a fuse - the original fuse was the wrong
rating, the correct rating was put in, and problem solved.
Anyone wanting to come and inspect or play the machine prior to sale is most
welcome.
I can pack for specialist courier or palletise for no extra charge. Can possibly
deliver personally to Northern/Central England for around same price as courier.
There are other pins in the background of the photographs, they are not for sale
except The Simpsons Pinball Party and Lord of the Rings and Twilight Zone,
details of which will be publicised as soon as I can do them, and by definition,
not before I can do them.
I had hoped to have the details available for all the machines by now, but
varying health is reason for sale, and this slows me down considerably. Thanks
for your understanding.
