The "How much is this table worth" thread....

I'm thinking of selling my AFMR LE. I am only owner so HUO
Had launch ramp fix done and replacement chip for flipper strength adjustment but other than that it is as it came out of the box (except play field dimples of course😂)
Never though I would even think of this but house move looming
I can't see a recent sale to benchmark the price ?

Hi all.

Would appreciate any suggestions on value for this T2 "chrome" edition as I need to clear out some space.
Cab condition very good outside with lovely shiny "chrome edition" cabinet art and playfield parts.
Playfield is entirely mylared, slight lifting around "autofire" and one mark under the mylar shown in pics.
Inside sprayed black.
A few LED's and so it looks great in the dark!
Has a big mothership, it's quite possibly too big to see the left ramp! But I do have the original.
I think I paid £3.4K 6 or 7 years ago - it's been played but only occasionally, as I have a home arcade with +35 machines to keep me going
Thanks for looking.

That looks stunning.

What would be a fair price to pay for a working F-14 Tomcat pin in decent condition? I've been offered one locally but need to know what's the maximum I should be willing to pay. Having done a quick search it looks like 1.2k-1.4k would be reasonable? I may not have much time to seal the deal, so any quick responses will be much appreciated!

I'm upping my game, I need a Ghostbusters or Metallica, so this has to go.
What is a fair price for my Fishtales?
I’m seeing various prices from £2k-£3k.

It’s not shopped but it’s very good original condition, some details:
Original playfield, original side art, original topper, original caster(painted) 1 notable chip on the front decal(pictures), original translite but glass broke and 1” mark on it, it’s not that noticeable but but worth noting.
Extras include Pin2dmd, warm white LEDs all around, all new star posts, all new rubbers, new cliffy post sleeves.
Playfield is really good except slight chipping around one insert on the treasure chest as usual.
The boat ramp has small amount planking and is missing 2 insert decals(this is on the boat, NOT the main playfield, can be seen in pics)

*I just noticed that the photos were taken at different times, hence the different coin door, it's the original Williams one there now and all screws are present despite them missing in photo

Evening everyone,

Not pinball unfortunately!

My brother has been offered this Puckman tabletop. He's been told it is working and Puckman was the original Pacman. Person selling is looking for £500. Cabinet looks tatty and looks generic, rather than dedicated. Any idea of value?

Thanks in advance.

Michael

@Michael J Looks the same as my Taito cocktail table but I'm not sure what game it was originally based on those control panels (other than it's not Phoenix as they're different to mine). Puckman was the Japanese version of Pacman and is a Namco game so I'm pretty sure it's not original, UKVAC would be a better place to ask  @Alpha1 is the most knowledgable person i know on here re: vid cabs. God knows re: value but I can tell you that I paid £250 for my Phoenix one which had a Pleides board in it, fully working about 2-3 years ago.

It's a bootleg table.

If it's working and in very nice condition maybe worth that, but personally I wouldn't pay it.

I am looking to change my FT and would like to ideally swap for an IJ, TSPP or FS (in that order).... I wondered if people would mind giving an opinion on value or range of values please before I post on the For Sale forum? I would be much happier arranging a swap (plus cash +/-) with a name I recognise on here if possible, but otherwise might need to sell and buy separately of course. I bought this from Matt V 6 years ago and it was serviced by Andy@PM en route to me with just light home use since and cleaning with Novus 2. I don't claim to be a pinball expert so these are just my non-expert opinions!

PROS
It plays perfectly - strong flippers, all gameplay works 100%
Can't see any board hacks or dodgy stuff to my untrained eye
All plastics bar one are complete - the top-left corner of the plastic by the bumpers has cracked off (still have that part, it came like that)
DMD is perfect

NEUTRAL
Backglass is a perspex/insert repro
No topper (I loathe the FT topper but I know others like it! :))
Sides of cabinet and head are pretty good condition although cab is faded
Plastic protectors by button
Door locks but no coin mech
Coloured bulbs on Stretch The Truth

CONS
Small circle of mylar between flippers, possibly small bubble underneath? Right in centre so only traversed when draining SDTM!
I assume another large patch of mylar up the RHS into the orbit?
Some wear at bottom of fish inserts
Left-hand school fish won't light up
Just noticed "L" of playfield "L-I-E" bulb has gone
Flippers have been coloured in with green pen - also the flipper rubbers are hardening and probably need replacing soon
Post rubber on lower-right side is dry and cracking/crumbling and needs replacing
The "Escape" and "-" control buttons are sticky and can be difficult to use
Front of cabinet is poorly "restored", looks like it's been coloured in with pens! Bottom right has been chipped off (still have that part, it came like that)
Fishing rod sticker on LH rail plastic seems to have a kink in it

I've tried to be thorough with the CONS, to be honest I don't really care about most of those as for me it's much more about playing nicely and I think it plays extremely well 👍

Any opinions on price and/or comments on anything else I should mention from photos would be appreciated!

Fish Tales in that condition.. without topper.. probably looking at £1200

Thanks for the reply Dave.

Hmmmm, so I can see recent ones that sold for £2474/2600/3000 - they have toppers and better cabinets, but also have broken plastics / ex-UK / planking issues as their negatives... but what else are the negatives that make mine so much lower? Topper and rubber kits and flippers are going to be say £300-350 if they were refurbed, say £150 for decals to bring it right up on looks...? Where else is the other £800-1300 I am losing? I'm trying to see if there would be any point in me doing extra work to get the value up or if there are intrinsic issues besides the aesthetics given it plays 100%.

Any other thoughts on price please?

A redecal is not £150. a decent set of decals probably more than that but the bigger cost is stripping out the cabinet, then sanding it smooth and applying the new decals. then put the machine back together. it’s a big job.

Take the £3000 Fish tales and work back.
Missing topper - £250 at least
Cabinet decals - £170
Color DMD - £400 - or pin2dmd.. not sure what that costs maybe £300..

The work to get it to where the other fish tales is .. if you paid someone £600 +

All the other parts, which when shopping a pin -
Rubber set - Titan - £40
Flipper rebuild kit - £30 (may not need doing)
LED kit - COMET- £60
Plastic set.. £70 Or the one broken £20
