Social gathering on Friday night for those who want an early start to the weekend.
Normal Special When Lit entry fee applies: £5 per person, £3 for children under 16.
SATURDAY 10TH DECEMBER, 12:00-19:00
The Festive Classics will be held on Saturday in conjunction with/alongside the Special When Lit League. Both the Classics and League are open for everyone to play in.
For those who don't feel competitive and would rather not participate in the League and/or the Classics then all remaining machines will be available to play. Normal Special When Lit entry fee applies: £5 per person, £3 for children under 16.
FESTIVE CLASSIC TOURNAMENT – Qualifying 12:00 – 15:30; Knockout games 15:30 – 19:00 when possible during SWL league play.
All classic games will be on 3 balls with no extra balls. You will play one qualifying game on five of the six available classic machines. The top 16 qualifiers will advance to head-to-head play in a 'best of five' games match. The top eight players will then play 'best of five' matches to find the top four players. These players will play 'best of five' matches to find the top two players who will then play a 'best of five' match to find the winner.
SWL LEAGUE – Starts 13:00 for 12 rounds. Finish around 18:00
All league games will be on 4 balls with no extra balls. There will be 12 rounds head to head play on random machines against random opponents. In the event of odd numbers a bye counts as a win. This will complete the league season and prizes will be presented afterwards, may be after the classics have finished. Players are to record the result as soon as it is known and vacate the machine ASAP.
NOTE: There will be no practice on machines in the Classic tournaments but you are free to practice on any other machine. Social players will be asked to vacate a machine if it is selected for a league game.
COST
Social visit (no league or classic participation) – £5 per person, £3 for children under 16.
Festive Classic Tournament – £5 per person, £3 for children under 16.
SWL League – £5 per person, £3 for children under 16.
SUNDAY 11TH DECEMBER, 11:00-18:00
FESTIVE PINBALL GATHERING TOURNAMENT
All games will be on 3 balls with no extra balls. You will play one qualifying game on eight machines. The top 16 qualifiers will advance to head-to-head play in a 'best of five' games match. The top eight players will then play 'best of five' matches to find the top four players. These players will play 'best of five' matches to find the top two players who will then play a 'best of five' match to find the winner.
There will be a 30 minute practice whilst people are registering. Play to start at 11:30am, qualifying to be completed by 3:30pm, when the knockout will start.
COST
£10 per person, £5 for children under 16.

These are not for profit events for supporters of Special When Lit that help raise funds to keep Special When Lit open.
