TAF nostalgia

TAF was THE game for me.

I promised myself I’d wait a good while before getting one once I got into this hobby .

I lasted about two years

It’s just as good as I remembered

One question. I’m sure back in the day it flipped the flippers on the finger clicks of the tune after game over . Mine doesn’t do that .

For some reason I thought this was good at the time

Is it something in the settings or because I’m running gold roms?

Or did I imagine it!!!!

It doesn't always do it. It's maybe a random thing?

don't press the flipper buttons once the ball drains, i think it cancels the flip if you do.

Might also not do it with certain rom versions but not sure

No, I have TAFG #0082 and it does it!

Is there a setting “A1-32: no bonus flips” on TAF?

Having this set to ‘no’ may disable it...

It’s a guess, but that would enable you to flip during the bonus which might stop it doing the timed click-click to the music thing.
