It’s a tough machine but looks like no other. Enjoy the game a lot and loved modding it.

The only mark I was aware of the cab was the small area at the top of the backbox. The ramp flaps were certainly not rusty.
Multiple people had seen this game and played and commented on the excellent condition.
I think you should direct your displeasure towards the shipping company for the state of the cabinet.

To be fair to Hadfields you can just about make out at least one of those scratches in the original photos if you zoom right in on a PC (the lower backbox one).

I had a look at that and I don't think it was there when Andrew took the picture. The colour of tge sctatch line on the 'now' picture is the roughly same as the two decals lines it crosses (white).
In Andrew's picture I can see the two decals lines clearly but nothing as obvious vertically?

Regarding the ramp flaps. My pinshack is insulated, heated and humidity controlled. I don’t have rusty pinball machines.

It's there running from the back of the shoe.

Bit of a mystery...

There is clearly some kind of line or trick of the light there, but if it was the same line as the "now" photo - as mentioned above - you'd expect it to be much more obvious, the "now" scratch is pretty thick.

Corroded ramp flaps can't be explained by Hadfield's handling of it, but they don't appear corroded from the original photos?

I'm guessing the 'now' pictures were taken with a flash.

Corrosion of the ramp flaps can be explained if the game has been stored for a few days in an environment that has large temperature swings.

It would appear that the scratch on the backbox may well have been present when I had the game although was not apparent as it is in the photo. I will gladly refund you £100 to cover the cost of obtaining some side decals for the backbox.
The scratches on the cab were certainly not there when I had the game nor were the ramp flaps rusty.
