A late run (Feb 2013) Stern Avatar for sale at £2,800 or up for trade for a cheaper machine with cash my way.

It has mostly superbrite LEDs fitted in GI and playfield inserts. A few inserts still have incandescent lamps due to ghosting, including NAVI and the 44 lamps in the large Link and Amp inserts. Coloured 89 tower flashers fitted behind NAVI and Seeds targets. Some large and detailed models of creatures and soldiers from the film have been fitted by a previous owner. Shaker motor included that was fitted by myself. Cabinet and backbox are in excellent condition with just a few minor marks

Wow, I really thought that was a more expensive game. Sorry I can't afford one right now but looks like I will have to add it to the wants list

I would have been on this like a fat lass on a kebab if I had the space. :(

Excellent pin, hurt by its early reputation ( like a lot of pins ) just ask my latest convert @mark9 :).
Yeah I love it, didn't think I would that much but it's very addictive, if you like Iron Man style of gameplay then I recommend this.
Looks like the machine's in great condition too, very nice.

Yeah the similarities between iron man is what has always put me off as iron man sucks balls
Avatar looks great , love the movie as well :)

Good luck with the sale dude

Much better game than iron man, much tougher as well as you restart each mode at the beginning of each ball unless you've completed the mode.

See that's what I mean, I like to have fun when I play a game, I'm not competitive and I don't care if I get a high score, I don't want to be thinking about modes and stuff. Each to their own and all that xxx

i love Iron Man, the big metal twat.

No one buy this til Friday, because by then i might be able to.

Is there much difference between the LE and Pro?

The main thing is the Navi ball, (ceramic like TZ's powerball). Double scoring when in play.

From IPDB:

• The amp suit model does more than just fall down and lift back up. It has animated legs which march up and down.
• The transporter pod has an added motor that allows it to open and close.
• A shaker motor is included in the game.
• There are more models of the characters including a banshee over the ramp, Colonel Quaritch in his amp suit and Na'vi people over the N-A-V-I targets.
• All previously unused lamps are not fully-functioning.
• There's a return to a metal bottom arch which has backlighting for new translucent blue windows.
• Metal playfield slide rails are also fitted in place of the pegs used on newer models.
Stern's original style lock bar makes a comeback.
• A white powerball is included in place of one of the steel balls, along with a sensor which increases scoring when the special ball is in play.
• New game rules and software is added to operate the new playfield devices and features.
• Chrome side rails, lock bar and hinges are installed.

Don't think there's many LE's in the UK, only 250 in total. @Replay had one, any more out there?
