Not sure I'd be doing what I am at all without ZX81/Spectrum, I spent so much time arsing around and learning basic computing principles on them, then moved to Electron and BBC Micro
The Spectrum +3 was were it all started for me.....
I've just started to get myself involved in a RetroComputing museum which will be opening later this month, so I actually saw one in the flesh only yesterday
Edit: Might have been a +2 I saw actually, was distracted by the vast amount of stuff they had, so I didn't look that closely
Used to love this game…
And many others …… remember when Knight Lore came out, the graphics were superb.
I used to buy memorex and BASF tapes and copy all the games to trade at school
