I normally pay £25-£40 for a decent monitor.
I like the Dell ones. They work on 110v or 220v
Have you got PinBox working okay yet - it can be fiddly!
Thanks pick holder it’s just the Martians are slightly to wide it’s currentky got a 23” widescreen and I’m keen to get the Aikens to like up with the targets ps what’s pinbox ? And on start up the screens wiggly for around 10 minutes any suggestions ? I’ve only just got the machine but I want to make it a perfect example thanks
Widescreen monitors dont look right to me. The game was designed for a 4:3 ratio.
PinBox and NuCore are the same thing really.
The flickering could be caused by a few issues. Probably with the VGA convertor card. It could be other interference but I have had problems with those cards before.
If I was you I would install a Pinbox PC personally for long term reliability. If you want more details on that then PM me - I think I have one here left over from the last batch I did that was never purchased by someone who asked me to build one.

Thanks guys ok so the monitor was one part I’m also after some help understanding what the lights on the board in the bottom and if I have an issue with bad diodes?
always sage advice ! Just afew flashers out really but I really don’t like the look of the brown goo in the opto boar would it be good to take off and scrub with electrical contact cleaner ?? The main issue is getting those Aiken’s to line up with the targets and stop the screen wobble
the manual says i can turn the skip ramp i.e middle ramp off if i choose ? can anyone tell me if they have every played a rfm with the ramp disable and what could i expect?
Also going back to the issue of the opto board the flippers went a little stutter ish tonight could it be cause by the damage to the board on the top left of the photo included
That’s the 20” dell fitted works well tbh it was a bugger to fit but it’s sitting on alloy side rails - covered in insulation tape - black to stop reflection and possible grounding issues
